Model: Margot LaMont / HMU: Chase Vegas
So several years ago Marc Flemon started attending some of my workshops back at the old studio on 23rd street. He was a great video guy but wanted to learn more about still photography so he could add that into the videos he was producing. (example of his work: https://vimeo.com/83833546) .
When I had decided to try to make a move to the new buildings in the Paseo that will be ready in Feb 2016, he offered me space at his new studio, "Marc Flemon Creative Space".
He has done an amazing job and If you have not had a chance to come by during our last party you need to come on by and visit or shoot with me here, you will love it. A new artist vibe that is full of new scenes and props.
I have been shooting edgy and provocative images for a long time. While I know pushing the envelope is not for everyone, I do think at our core everyone I meet is either comfortable being daring or wishes they could be. It's also why so many of my clients love private Boudoir shoots. It's a chance to show a sexier and sassier version of themselves to someone important to them. I'm always amazed at the number of clients who call me later and thank me for helping them spice up their marriage and tell me how much their husbands loved their images. Others have worked very hard to sculpt their bodies and enjoy sharing it in an artistic and beautiful expression of the nude form. Melissa did this shoot for her boyfriend and is also a promo model, so she was happy to share her fun, sexy shoot. For me, there is something beautiful and edgy in all of us. I love what I do when I can pull a little of that edge out and into the fantasy and an images that's everything they imagined it could be.
Seriously...why shoot a dog. Well aside from the fact that he is neurotically licky and entertaining. Details. Chip doesn't pose or preen. You just have to catch his furry little self, very quickly and with clarity. It's a quick snap of what made you smile. In this case it is his has tail to the wind while he follows his nose in happy bliss. Gotta love the dog's life. More absurdity to come. This first one was just to see if you were looking.
